Walk me through the step-by-step process that you went through to get to where you are today in business? When I partnered with the Juice Plus company, it was simply because my mom (who got me started on the products) asked me to join her team. I thought of a few people that I knew that it would help so I joined to earn some money back on my products. I loved my career in radio advertising and I didn’t see how I could earn an income that compared to my commissions in advertising sales. I didn’t understand the power of building a team and leveraging others to grow my paycheck. When I quit my radio job to work fewer hours closer to home and have more time with my young family, I was looking for more income and more fulfillment that I no longer had. I had been a Juice Plus partner for about 8 years before I started looking into the business opportunity. I started treating it with more respect and learning what it would take to earn a side income. I was giving myself raises every month and I took notice of that since I wasn’t getting raises at my day job. In 2017, I did something scary. I walked away from the security of a consistent paycheck because I decided it was time to build my own business instead of someone else’s. I wanted flexibility to work around my family’s schedule and I wanted to earn what I am worth.

Why did you start Project Broadcast? I started Project Broadcast because I was looking for a way to text from my computer so I wouldn’t have to constantly be on my phone to work my business. I enjoyed learning more about the options that Project Broadcast offered and trying to figure out a way to apply those to my business. Once I made connections on how to apply it, I was hooked.

Project Broadcast has also given me the opportunity to create content and teach classes to others in my company

When was the first time you saw a profit using Project Broadcast? I’m not sure if it was the first time but one of the most memorable is when I was trying to reach a goal by the end of the month and the needle wasn’t moving. I decided to send all of my customers an educational campaign to remind them of the awesome investment they were making in the products. That led to multiple people adding to their orders and sending referrals. I think I eventually placed 12 orders from that one campaign. Project Broadcast has also given me the opportunity to create content and teach classes to others in my company. I had a lot of sidelines asking questions on how I was creating landing pages and some of the content I was using so I started to design landing pages for others. I knew as soon as the landing page feature became available I’d like to use it, but I wasn’t sure how until I was brainstorming ways to get more information in the hands of my customers when I was giving out samples. Building landing pages allows me to share recipes, videos, a place to order, and more benefits in one place. I created a lot of landing pages for others in the JP community and then I started getting questions from people asking if I could teach them how to create their own. Some people want you to do it for them and some people like to create and learn, so I started a business called Savvy. The name comes from my tagline; streamline, automate and add value. Through a class called Savvy Academy, I teach others in Juice Plus how to apply the features in Project Broadcast to their business. There are so many ways we can use it and, through my own research and the education Project Broadcast provides, it took me a couple of years to figure out how to directly apply that to my business. The purpose of Savvy Academy is to provide training with step-by-step tutorials and strategies, allowing others to accelerate their knowledge giving them a shortcut to success with ideas that will elevate their business. They become part of the community where they can engage with me, a representative of Project Broadcast, and other Savvy Academy members. They have access to on-demand training, memory aids with a summary of the training, live coaching with Q&A, and workshopping. This year I plan to implement a similar program for other people like me, who love Project Broadcast, in other network marketing companies and teach them the blueprint so they can monetize it within their company.

If someone walked up to you asking for your advice and you only had a few minutes to give them your best tip, what would it be? Start with one thing. What would make the biggest difference in your business right now? I still don’t use all the features in Project Broadcast, although I plan to eventually. Even if you simply used Project Broadcast to send one message to a specific (tagged) group of people to invite to events once a month, it would be worth it!

You don’t have to be perfectly set up to get started

If you could give a new Project Broadcast user advice on using Project Broadcast, what would it be? You don’t have to be perfectly set up to get started but I highly recommend that you start with the basic Project Broadcast training. It will save you time and a lot of frustration over trying to figure it out on your own.

Project Broadcast has made me more efficient..

How has Project Broadcast directly impacted your business? Project Broadcast has made me more efficient. I am able to add more value, customer care is scheduled and doesn’t fall through the cracks, and I am able to communicate with more people in less time.

Tell me about a recent Project Broadcast win and how did you accomplish it…Using what I’ve learned from Project Broadcast to teach others how to use it in their business has been so fun and rewarding.
